Tobbogan
To tobbogan is not just really popular in South Tyrol, it is also a guarantee for fun and entertainment. By day or by night, to tobbogan is always a a highlight. Tobbogan-experts as well as beginners...everyone will have fun! Clear way for the whole family! Funny rides on the famous and now newly arranged "Vigiljoch Tobbogan-run" will become an unforgettable adventure! Tobbogan rental directly at teh lower station.
Beside Monte San Vigilio, you'll find wonderful tobbogan-runs also in "Val d'ultimo" at the skiregion "Schwemmalm".
But.. make sure you don't miss the natural toboggan run "Moscha", which takes you through forests and old farms. A real highlight of your holiday will be the nightly toboggan-run.. maybe at full-moon.. or under a starry sky.
Even on the sunny ski-and winterregion of Merano 2000 (also alpine-bob) Toboggan-fans will find a wonderful 3.8km long natural run.
Ice Skating
There are lots of different places around Lana where you can ice skate: at "gola Valsura/Gaulschlucht" for example, you'll find a small but really nice ice-skating rink, and even at the Thermae, in the centre of Merano, where you can
One can either hire skates and do a few rounds in Piazza Terme square in the centre of Merano, or admire an ice skating show at the new ice rink.
The Meranarena: Ice hockey tournaments take place every week at the ice rink of Merano. This is an important meeting place for regional fans of the A2 division and is also a public ice skating hall with a skate hiring service between the months of November and March.
The ice rink of Val d’Ultimo valley is close to the ski resort of Schwemmalm in Pracupola. Alpine curling tournaments take place here every Friday, and ice skate hiring is also possible.
Merano's thermal baths
