GOLFCLUB DOLOMITI
The Dolomiti Golf Club is located on the picturesque plateau of Upper Val di Non, surrounded by the mighty peaks of the Dolomiti di Brenta and the Maddalene. Rich green hills, fir trees and sparkling white mountain ridges characterise the area. The club was redesigned in 2004 by architects Michael Niebdala and Luca Borzaga, who created an 18 holes championship and a 3 holes executive course with driving range, putting greens and pitching greens.
GOLFCLUB LANA
9 hole course with mildly undulated grounds for a comfortable game, suitable for players in every age and experience range. The relatively long course (2793 Meters – PAR 35) provides a good and fair test of both lengths and precision. Besides offers the golf plant a Driving-Range with 12 tees-offs, a pitching-green with bunker, and a putting-green. The golf place of Lana dresses sport with fun in the nature!
Motorcycle - Bike
The world's cuurves - curves in South Tyrol: it is really a unique experience to drive over passes on your motor-bike.
A lot of wonderful tours thought the Alps and over uncountable passes (passo delle Palade, passo Mendola) are wainting for you. And.. as we are a biker-freindly-hotel we'll make everything possible to make your hilday unforgettable.
Motorcycle - trips
Thermae Merano
Recreation, harmony and relaxation are among the main aims in the Merano Thermal Baths, featuring a total of 25 pools and a refined sauna area. Here you will find all you can wish for, from a refreshing cold plunge pool and hot whirlpools to relaxing brine pools. Cosy warmth and a unique flair are provided by a first-class sauna area. Here you may relax, unwind and sweat while contemporaneously boosting your immune system. The 30 – 35°C warm water in the thermal bath contains radon. It comes from the Vigiljoch sources at Bärenbad and is beneficial to circulatory problems and arthralgia.
Caldaro & Monticolo Lake:
Lake Caldaro is not only the warmest lake for bathing in the Alps, but also one of the largest lakes in South Tyrol. The Monticolo Lakes (the small and the big one) are situated in Appiano, on an sea level of about 500m. Both lakes dispose of nice lawns, swimming pools and restaurants as well as a a big parking area. At the lake you have the possibility to rent rowboats, paddleboats or surfboards.
Climbing
Enjoy unforgettable climbing experiences in the mountain world of South Tyrol, on numerous indoor climbing walls or outdoor practice areas:fixed rope routs and climbing walls (for example high rope garden next to Parcines) take you through the most beautiful mounains in South Tyrol.
Tennis
Lana disposes of a moltitude of Tennis-courts. For example you can play at the newly Sport-centre, with it's different indoor and outdoor-courts. Otherwise, there's another Tennis-court at "Restaurant Tennis", just 5 min by foot.
Horse riding:
The Meran Mais Racecourse in Untermais is among the largest in continental Europe, and one of the most beautifully-situated in the world. Once you have discovered the racing season at the Maia Racecourse of Merano, you know that not only the thoroughbreds race but also the famous Haflinger ponies. The racecourse offers competitive sport with professional jockeys, from spring to autumn.
Of course, one can also book an ordinary riding hour to discover the nature of the Haflinger horse. Various riding stables in the village of Hafling offer guided Trail riding or Pony riding tours, as well as single- and group courses.
Paragliding
Look at the mountains from above!
That of paragliding is an adventure that gives undoubtedly great adrenaline and emotions. The South Tyrol is the ideal place for those who want to practice it thanks to its perfect weather conditions, good winds and wonderful departure points.
Tandem-flights are also offered. The cable-car will take you on the Vigljoch and after a breathtaking flight you'll land close to the Hotel, amongst the apple-orchards. We would be glad to book your flight for you.
